TARGET SHOOTER'S FORUM

In PMs, below the submit button there should be a "choose" button, it doesn't actually say 'attachment'.

I'm finding nothing wrong - I've tested several different ways and the 'upload attachment' tab is still there and the 'browse' button is still there. They do only show up when you are making a new post or replying to a post.

I have no idea why it would disappear but I'll check it out!

When trying to log in - If you get a message about being permanently banded please send me an email (turkeyshoot@turkeyshoot.net) with your username so I can get it fixed. I've been trying to ban some of these spammers that are registering every day and it can be tricky.

They're asking for pics to be sent to their cell phone.

Do NOT post your personal info - someone could use your login and password to sign in to your account.

Seems there are quite a few people having to login in several times even though they have checked the "keep me logged in" box. In reference to the "map" on the front page.... it's been gone a long time. After being free for several years they decided to start charging and it wasn't worth the price.

Shooting House list is being worked on, it'll be posted when I'm done with it. New software and server is a pain in the butt!

Check the Shooting House Bulletin Board forum, the most current info SHOULD be listed there by the people running the shoots.

Try clearing your history / temp files / cache etc, see if that helps.

I don't think it matters if you already have a Brownells. If you go to their site using the link on our site and make a purchase we get a 5% commission. In the time we've been affiliated with them, about 4 years, we've received a total of $55.67. Every teeny bit helps!!!

You shouldn't actually have to 'log in' to the chat. If you're logged in to the forum all you have to do is click the "chat" link.

You may have noticed the forum was down for a couple hours today... I was just doing some security updates and trying to get it done before everyone got off work. Took me longer than expected but at least were back online.

Hmmmm, could be the server had a problem, hard saying. You might want to clear you cookies, cache all that good stuff, it makes a world of difference sometimes.

A couple people have noted that when they post something the time is not showing correctly.
There are two settings in your profile that are most likely the cluprit:
1- "System Timezone" - set it for YOUR timezone
2- "DST" - if it applies to you it needs to be enabled

I've had several people ask why everyone doesn't update their profile to show where they're from... especially those who pay to advertise here! So for those of you that don't know how to do it: Click on "user control panel" at the top left of the forum, then click the profile tab and fill in the box...

Looks like those buttons are gone in this newer version of the forum. I never used them before so I hadn't even noticed.

You may need to clear you temporary or cache folders. There's a section under 'Technical' with instructions

I think what your talking about is the icon that shows a topic is busy.

Still gotta fix the colors... you have to go thru the chat section of the forum to get to the chat room. Had to update everything to keep the hackers out and there's no easy fix to integrate the chat and see who's on line yet... sorry about that!
